Terms of Use

Effective date: April 28, 2026. These terms govern your access to the Bitemora website, iPhone app, and related services operated by Oleg Kuksa.

Bitemora and the related services covered by these terms are operated by Oleg Kuksa. For legal or account-related questions about these terms, you can contact contact@bitemora.cc.

Using the service

You may use Bitemora only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, the choices you make when saving meal entries, and the security of your device and account credentials.

Product features and estimates

Bitemora includes features such as meal photo scanning, nutrition review and editing, diary history, onboarding-based nutrition targets, weight tracking, barcode lookup, and related progress views. Scan results, nutrition estimates, and summaries are generated to help you log meals, but they may be incomplete or inaccurate and should always be reviewed by you before you rely on them.

Accounts and access

Some features may require authentication or a supported sign-in method, including Apple, Google, email, or a guest session where available. You agree not to impersonate others, misuse authentication flows, share access in a way that compromises security, or interfere with the reliability of the service.

Subscriptions and paid features

Bitemora may offer paid or limited features, including subscription-based access through the Apple App Store. Billing, renewals, cancellations, family sharing availability, and refunds are handled by Apple under its platform rules and your App Store account terms. We may change which features are free, limited, or subscription-only over time.

Privacy and stored content

Depending on your settings and product behavior, Bitemora may process and store account details, onboarding answers, meal entries, weight entries, support messages, and meal imagery or thumbnails needed to provide the service. Your use of the service is also subject to the Privacy Policy posted on this site.

Acceptable use

You may not use Bitemora for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with APIs, automate abusive traffic, reverse engineer the service except where applicable law permits it, or upload content that infringes the rights or privacy of others.

Intellectual property

The Bitemora name, branding, website, app interface, software, and related content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you ownership of the service or any rights to copy, resell, or commercially exploit it beyond normal personal use.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the website, app, or backend services at any time, including scan limits, supported features, and account functionality. We may also revise these terms, and your continued use after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the revised terms.

Wellness disclaimer

Bitemora is a wellness and self-tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for advice from qualified healthcare or nutrition professionals.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free scan results, or that any estimate will match laboratory, packaging, or professional nutrition data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitemora and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Auto-renewing subscriptions

If you buy a Bitemora subscription, payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal may be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings, and you can use Restore Purchases in the app where available.

Account deletion

You may delete your Bitemora account from inside the app by opening Settings and choosing Delete Account. Account deletion is intended to be permanent for your Bitemora account and associated in-app backend data. Deleting your Bitemora account does not by itself cancel an active Apple subscription; subscription cancellation remains managed through your Apple Account.
